World Day for Safety and Health at Work is an annual international campaign to promote safe, healthy and decent working conditions. The event takes place on 28 April.

Occupational health and safety is a system for protecting the life, health and performance of employees in the course of their work activities. It includes legal, socio-economic, organizational, technical, sanitary and hygienic, therapeutic and prophylactic, rehabilitation and other measures.

Occupational safety and health issues will always be topical. In turn, the occupational safety day is an important tool in terms of raising awareness of how to improve safety and conditions at the workplace, and how to promote the importance of employee safety and health.

In the policy of «NC «Kazakhstan Engineering» JSC one of the most significant places is occupied by ensuring occupational safety and providing everything necessary to create a healthy working environment and prosperous enterprises.

The total number of employees in «NC «Kazakhstan engineering» JSC and subsidiaries and affiliates is 4597. In 2022, there was one accident among the organizations, but since the beginning of 2023, there have been no accidents. Due to the special attention of the management of the Company and its subsidiaries and affiliates, injury risks are minimized and active preventive measures are taken.

This includes the development of occupational safety and health policies as well as systems of oversight to ensure compliance with workplace safety and health standards and regulations.

A safety culture is respect for the right to a safe and healthy working environment at all levels, where employers and employees actively participate in ensuring a safe and healthy working environment by clearly defining rights and responsibilities.
