Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov made a working trip to the North Kazakhstan region and visited the factories of the Kazakhstan Engineering Group of Companies.

The Head of Government began his acquaintance with the industrial potential of the region by visiting JSC Plant named after. CM. Kirov". The Prime Minister got acquainted in detail with the manufacturing process of various types of products, and was also informed about further plans to expand the line and increase production capacity.

Among other things, Olzhas Bektenov also got acquainted with the results of technological modernization of Petropavlovsk Heavy Engineering Plant JSC. The company produces a wide range of products that are used in the oil and gas, energy and railway industries.

The Prime Minister noted the need for localization of production and noted that the Government is taking support measures aimed at increasing the competitiveness of products of domestic factories.
