Description

Microprocessor adaptive engine SPL-protection device 11 designed to protect the integrated three-phase asynchronous motors. Protection is carried out by emergency stop or prevent activation of the engine in the event of a malfunction. The device continuously monitors the mains and motor current. Additionally, the device may monitor motor temperature, the ingress of water into the oil sump pump or other device driven by the electric motor, outer handle digital signals accidents. The apparatus generates a provisional load prohibition command to turn on in case of reduced insulation resistance coils or motor power cable.

Ensure the safety:

  • Intelligent current protection on all phases including:
  • protection against over-current;
  • protection against thermal overload protection (based on the thermal model)
  • protection from idle phase failure;
  • protection against misalignment of phase currents;
  • Control of the phase sequence;
  • Protection against output voltage of the set limits;
  • Locking the engine is switched on in case of violation of winding insulation;
  • Protection against overheating of the engine using the thermal sensors;
  • Protective motor off by signals from external sensors and devices;
  • Control of water ingress into the oil sump of the pump;
  • Operating check of temperature sensors and humidity sensors.
