UMP-350 is designed for heating aircraft engines with hot air, heating aircraft and helicopter cabins at ambient air temperature from +10 to -50 °C. In summer time the fan of the UMP module can be used (without starting the heater) for blowing aircraft cabins and other objects with ambient air.

The UMP design allows to supply atmospheric air heated up to 80-115°C at a speed of up to 25 m/s; to simultaneously heat four aircraft engines and to heat the cabins of heavy aircraft; to heat other objects with air heated up to 50-75°C.
