It is intended for production of liquid medical oxygen GOST 6331-78, gaseous medical oxygen GOST 5583-78, free of water vapour, oil, harmful impurities and odourless, as well as liquid and gaseous nitrogen GOST 9293-74 from atmospheric air.

The station consists of a set of compressor and process equipment mounted in two all-metal bodies on the KrAZ-257 chassis, auxiliary equipment mounted in a body with a tarpaulin tent on the ZIL-131 chassis, and power plant ESD-200-30T/400M on the MAZ-5224V trailer chassis.
