On July 1, 2020, a cooperation agreement came into force between Microsoft and JSC "Plant named after CM. Kirov "(a subsidiary of JSC NC" Kazakhstan Engineering ") to equip the computer products of the plant with a licensed operating system Windows 10Pro.

With comprehensive security, business-class tools, and flexible management, Windows 10Pro is a solid foundation for the modern workplace. Windows 10Pro includes built-in protections for your data, equipment, and people, protecting your business and personal information even on lost or stolen devices. Cooperation between the plant and Microsoft Corporation combines the advantages of domestic products and world-class software.

At this stage, the production of computer equipment is carried out on the most modern line in Kazakhstan for the production of printed circuit boards of 5 accuracy class and an SMD-assembly line. In addition, it is planned to build a new workshop, which will significantly speed up the development and release of computer equipment and other civilian products.

Since July this year, the plant is ready to produce 2,500 ZiK computers monthly for the needs of the population. The design annual capacity of computer products is up to 30,000 units per year. A step-by-step increase in the share of localization in the production of personal computers is envisaged according to the roadmap.

ZiK computer technology fully complies with the requirements for a unified workplace. According to the order of the Minister of Digital Development of Innovations, and the Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 125 / НҚ dated April 03, 2020, the products of JSC "Plant named after CM. Kirov is included in the Register of Trusted Software and Products of the Electronic Industry.

Inclusion in this register will allow interested state bodies to purchase ZIK computer equipment through the public procurement system, as well as all Kazakhstanis can purchase our products.
