The first batch of wheelchairs with an electric drive of domestic production in the amount of 204 units was delivered to the Turkestan region. These products are manufactured by the Tynys plant, a subsidiary of JSC NC Kazakhstan Engineering.

By order of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, it is planned to supply 1,379 prams for children and adults with disabilities. 

This is the own development of the designers of the Tynys plant. Total weight up to 70 kg, cruising range - 30 km, carrying capacity up to 140 kg. The production capacity of the enterprise is 2700 units per year.

Note that until recently, due to the absence of wheelchair manufacturers in Kazakhstan, they were imported from Russia, China and European countries.

This project is aimed at increasing the efficiency of meeting the needs of people with disabilities with special vehicles.

In addition, this will allow expanding the range and increasing the share of civilian production in the volume of the military-industrial complex.

Let us recall that the main products manufactured at the Tynys plant are components for aviation equipment, personal protective equipment for the security forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It also manufactures products for the oil and gas sector, the railway industry, etc.
