JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Engineering" is a holding structure that provides a unified financial, production and technological policy at the largest military enterprises of the republic. The sole shareholder of the Company is the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kirov Machine-Building Plant JSC, Kazakhstan Aviation Industry LLP, Kaztekhnologii JSC, Steel Manufacturing LLP, Munaimash JSC, 811 Avtoremontny JSC KI Plant, Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering LLP, Research Institute Gidropribor JSC, Kazakhstan Aselsan Engineering LLP, R&D Center Kazakhstan Engineering LLP, KazEng Electronics LLP.

The strategic planning of the Company's activities is organized taking into account the tasks that state bodies set for the military-industrial complex, as well as taking into account documents of state planning of a higher level, in particular, the Development Strategy of Kazakhstan, the National Development Plan of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other important documents. The main directions of the Company's strategic development are set out in the Company's Development Plan for 2020-2029, approved by Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 25, 2019 No. 969. The Company operates in accordance with the policy of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development, in addition, it maintains close cooperation with state bodies represented by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Security Committee and other structures.

JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Engineering” carries out activities in the field of development of the defense industry, mechanical engineering, innovations, technologies, being the creator and ideological inspirer of the Competence Center and the Sheber Mura Corporate Fund. The company actively cooperates with the Association of Legal Entities “Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan”, the Association of Light Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC “Kazakhstan Center for Industry and Export “Qazindustry”, and is also a member of the Association of Legal Entities and Entrepreneurs “Kazakhstan Association of Suppliers of Industrial Enterprises” as part of the supply of civil products.
