On September 30, NC Kazakhstan Engineering JSC organized an Open Doors Day for Aviation Training Center LLP (hereinafter referred to as ATC / Center) on the territory of the Zholaman airfield.

The event was attended by representatives of state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan (MIIR, MO, MES, ICRIAP, SGO, PS KNB, etc.), Kazakhstani companies working in the development, production and maintenance of UAVs, educational institutions and independent experts.

This event was held in B2G format. Thus, within the framework of the event, representatives of the state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan got acquainted with innovative solutions in the unmanned industry: demonstration flights of the ATC aircraft, as well as the IRBIS-4.0 drone helicopter manufactured by SC Tech LLP, were carried out. In addition, the guests were presented with Supercam S350 UAV (KAZUAV LLP), Shagala-M UAV and a large target with a turbojet engine (R&D Center Kazakhstan Engineering LLP), TENGRI PRO 2.5 UAV and hexacopter Orion 6 3D” (Qazdron LLP), equipment of the Aspan series anti-drone system (KazTechInnovations LLP), virtual reality systems (Tactical Tech LLP) and aerial mapping (KazAeroSpace LLP).

The event was opened by the General Director of the ATC Zhandykeev S.N., who acquainted the guests with the activities of the Center, the Zholaman airfield and its facilities.

Chairman of the Board of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Engineering” Abdrakhmanov T.K. spoke about the state of the infrastructure of the Zholaman airfield, possible directions for the development of the ATC, as well as the need to combine efforts in order to attract investors and create a full-fledged cluster of the unmanned industry. Also, the presentation of the Kazakhstan Association of UAVs was made by the Executive Director - Rubanyak Yu.Yu.

Colonel General Zhasuzakov S.A. acted as speakers at the event with expert opinions. and Lieutenant General Ermekbaev N.B., noting the relevance of this event due to the increased interest in this industry on the part of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the need to develop small aircraft in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The invited guests highly appreciated the platform organized by NC Kazakhstan Engineering JSC for the exchange of experience with domestic enterprises in the unmanned industry and expressed their readiness for further cooperation.

For reference: ATC is a certified aviation training center specializing in the training of flight personnel. By Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 16, 2022 No. 561, the Center was transferred from the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the jurisdiction of NC Kazakhstan Engineering JSC.
