The third meeting of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Expert Center - Competence Center of «NC «Kazakhstan Engineering» JSC was held in Astana.
During the meeting there were discussed the results of the visit to IDEX «International Defence Exhibition» in Abu-Dhabi, the questions about the current activity of the Company, including scientific research and analytical works, as well as the prospects for the development of new productions were touched upon.
The meeting was attended by the State Institution «Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan», RSU «National University of Defense named after the first President of RK - Elbasy» of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, UL «National Association of Defense and Industrial Enterprises», the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of RK, State Protection Service, Border Service KNB RK, National Guard of the RK, as well as «R&D center «Kazakhstan engineering» LLC.
The Centre's activities are aimed at solving the following tasks:
- Consulting and expert opinions on defense industry issues;
- Development of new solutions in line with global trends and modernization in the production of weapons and military equipment;
- Generating new ideas to help implement innovations in the domestic military-industrial complex
- Establishment and development of partnerships with educational and scientific institutions at the national and global level;
- promoting the creation of corporate educational structures, innovation platforms, and corporate innovation centers.
The Competence Centre is a structure aimed primarily at the search for new knowledge, its active use and the provision of consulting, service and professional services. The Centre involves external experts in the field of military science, defense production and military affairs.
