On February 28, 2020, with the participation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan A. Mamin, the Samruk Business Forum was held, where issues of support for domestic producers were discussed. Within the framework of the forum, an exhibition of domestic import substitution products was organized, including subsidiaries of “NC “Kazakhstan Engineering” JSC.

During the forum, the Chairman of the Board of “NC “Kazakhstan Engineering” JSC Kuanysh Bishimov and the Deputy Chairman of the Board of SWF “Samruk-Kazyna” JSC Alisher Pirmetov signed a Memorandum of Cooperation totaling 13 billion tenge.

This Memorandum takes into account agreements with the “daughters” of the Company, such as “PZTM” JSC, “Plant named after S. M. Kirov” JSC, “Munaimash” JSC, “Tynys”, “KAMAZ Engineering” JSC, “Semipalatinsk Machine-Building Plant” JSC for the supply of goods and services for “KTZ” JSC, “Kazmunaygas” JSC.

“In pursuance to an order from the Government, work is underway to increase the output of domestic civilian products, import substitution and export promotion. This year, in the group of the company “NC “Kazakhstan Engineering” JSC, the volume of civilian production is expected to more than double,” K. Bishimov noted.
