On April 24, in Moscow, a meeting was held between the General Director of Petropavlovsk Heavy Engineering Plant JSC Kuanysh Bishimov and the General Director of Uralmash NGO Holding LLC Yuri Karpov. As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached on cooperation within the framework of joint work on the production and promotion of products of both companies on the Russian and Kazakh markets.

Industrial cooperation between the two countries was one of the main topics of the bilateral meeting of the presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan, held in November 2013 in Yekaterinburg. The agreements reached as a result of these negotiations served as an additional impetus for the development of relations between the two largest manufacturers of oil and gas drilling equipment in our countries.

Currently, we are actively working with the leading Russian manufacturer of drilling rigs for production and deep exploration drilling - Uralmash NGO Holding LLC, and relevant cooperation documents have been signed. There is already a positive experience of cooperation with Uralmash NGO Holding LLC. So, in 2005-2006. At JSC "PZTM" a project was implemented to create a mobile drilling rig with a lifting capacity of 125 tons with the participation of specialists from Uralmash NGO Holding.

Detailed terms for further cooperation will be discussed during Yuri Karpov’s return visit to Kazakhstan.

Considering that the product range of our companies in the oil and gas drilling equipment segment complements each other, the agreements reached are aimed, first of all, at expanding sales markets and increasing the volume of supplies of Uralmash NGO Holding LLC and PZTM JSC, respectively, to the Kazakh and Russian markets, as well as to other countries. Combining our capabilities in the production of drilling equipment, the leading enterprise in Kazakhstan - PZTM JSC and the main one in Russia - Uralmash NGO Holding LLC will allow us to create modern equipment with advanced technical solutions and know-how for the needs of the oil and gas industry that meets modern requirements for quality, reliability and safety.
