On February 4, 2015, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berdybek Saparbayev visited North Kazakhstan region on a working visit. During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister visited PZTM JSC. The visit began with a tour of the power engineering workshop, where the Deputy Prime Minister was presented with a production site for power boiler equipment with a capacity of 1.5 thousand tons per year, launched by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev on July 4, 2014 during the republican teleconference.
Next, in the meeting room of the enterprise, a meeting was held on topical issues of developing the industrial potential of the region, ensuring the stabilization of production processes and increasing the share of local content.
In his speech, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Berdybek Saparbayev primarily focused on the tasks of implementing the next Address of the Head of State to the people “Nurly Zhol - the path to the future.” Maintaining economic growth rates and ensuring the well-being of Kazakhstanis are one of the main guidelines today.
Deputy akim of the region Erlan Aukenov made a report on the current situation in Northern Kazakhstan. Over the past year, over 800 disabled people were employed in the region, and issues related to wage arrears were actively resolved. This year, a special emphasis in the work of North Kazakhstanis has been placed on creating new jobs.
General Director of PZTM JSC Kuanysh Bishimov voiced issues that are most relevant for local producers today. This year, the factory workers plan to produce products worth 7 and a half billion tenge. Technical capabilities alone are not enough to implement ambitious plans. They understand this here. Therefore, a lot of work is being done to attract personnel.
Factory workers pay special attention to student trainees; their work at the enterprise is paid. As part of the dual education project, they actively cooperate with the region’s mechanical engineering college. Deputy Prime Minister Berdybek Saparbayev gave a good assessment of the work of the enterprise and promised support.
Also taking part in the meeting were heads of central government bodies, national companies, systemically important enterprises, trade unions, as well as enterprises from various industries.
At the end of the meeting, the dialogue participants concluded a number of memorandums of cooperation. Eight agreements aimed at resolving issues of social development, preserving jobs and stabilizing production processes were signed by the akimat of the North Kazakhstan region, represented by the head of the region Erik Sultanov, representatives of systemically important enterprises and trade union organizations of the region.
