JSC Petropavlovsk Heavy Engineering Plant is currently completing a contract with the leading Russian manufacturer of drilling rigs, Uralmash NGO Holding LLC, for the supply of hydraulic cylinders with a lifting capacity of 116 tons for lifting drilling platforms.
This is the first agreement with Uralmash on the export of critical hydraulic elements for drilling complexes. The cost of the contract is about 100 million tenge. These products will be used as part of echelon drilling complexes with a drilling depth of up to 5000 m, operating in oil and gas fields in the northern regions of the Russian Federation.
The conclusion of the contract was preceded by a technical audit conducted by representatives of Uralmash. Specialists of the Russian holding highly appreciated the technological capabilities of PZTM JSC, the system of quality control and production preparation. In May, tests and final acceptance of products by customer representatives were carried out.
The implementation of the contract opens up new opportunities for PZTM JSC to further develop cooperation with the leading Russian manufacturer Uralmash NGO Holding LLC for the export of critical components and elements for echelon and stationary drilling complexes, both to the countries of the Tajik Union and far abroad.
In Moscow at the end of May there will be a meeting between the management of Uralmash Oil and Gas Holding LLC and PZTM JSC on the issue of increasing the volume of supplies of equipment for the oil and gas complex to third countries, including the countries of the Middle East.
Today, PZTM JSC, part of NC Kazakhstan Engineering JSC, is one of the leading enterprises in the republic in the production of machinery and equipment for the oil production, oil refining, petrochemical, energy and railway industries.
In April, the plant successfully completed a contract with the Japanese company Marubeni Corporation for the supply of capacitive equipment worth $1.5 million.
In 2015, PZTM JSC became a laureate of the Altyn Sapa Presidential Award of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the category “Best Production Enterprise” among large businesses. This year the plant celebrates its 55th anniversary.
