In March 2017, PZTM JSC, at the request of Institute of High Technologies LLP, manufactured a prototype of a UP installation designed for chemical treatment of wells operated under conditions of underground borehole leaching of uranium.

The execution of the contract was preceded by the development of design documentation for a new product by the design and technology center of PZTM JSC, which employs 90 qualified specialists.

The implementation of this project will reduce material costs and improve technical means to ensure uninterrupted operation of geotechnological wells at the Karamurun mine of the Northern and Southern Karamurun deposits. The installation allows you to safely pump, prepare and supply various types of solutions of chemical reagents directly into the filter part of the process well, increasing the safety and environmental friendliness of the work.

All work after the conclusion of the contract was carried out at PZTM JSC. In the presence of representatives of the Institute of High Technologies LLP, tests of the mobile installation were successfully carried out.

In the future, serial production of this product is planned.
