The missile and artillery ship "MAGYSTAU" is designed to perform tasks in accordance with the military doctrine of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Unlike its predecessors, its weapons have been modernized and, thus, the range of tasks it can solve has expanded. In particular, means have been installed to detect and combat underwater sabotage threats, including combat swimmers. The ceremony was attended by Akim of the West Kazakhstan region Kulginov A.S., representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, veterans of the Armed Forces of the republic, the team of the Ural Plant Zenit JSC and the crew of the ship MAKYSTAU. The ship was handed over to the Customer.
