The ship “NUR-SULTAN” is the 30th for the plant and was manufactured for the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Designed to ensure the protection of state territorial waters of the state border and continental shelf of the Republic of Kazakhstan; patrolling in order to suppress illegal shipping, smuggling operations, piracy and illegal fishing, intercepting and inspecting violating vessels independently and jointly with other ships, boats and aircraft, combating underwater saboteurs (combat swimmers), has the necessary characteristics for seaworthiness: speed , controllability, stability, cruising range, autonomy, crew habitability conditions. The ship's weapons have been modernized, thereby expanding the range of tasks it can solve. The ceremony was attended by Akim of the West Kazakhstan Region Kulginov A.S., the leadership of the National Security Committee and the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the leadership and personnel of the Regional Coast Guard Directorate of the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Regional Directorate "Batys", the management of JSC " National company "Kazakhstan Engineering", as well as veterans of the Armed Forces, representatives of local governments, republican and regional media, the team of JSC "Ural Plant "Zenith" and representatives of the crew of the ship "NUR-SULTAN". The ship will undergo testing in the Caspian Sea, after which it will be handed over to the Customer.
