The ceremony was attended by Akim of the West Kazakhstan region Iskaliev G.N., the leadership of the Border Service of the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as veterans of the Border Service, representatives of local authorities, republican and regional media, the plant staff and representatives of the crew of the small patrol ship "TURKISTAN".

The small patrol ship is designed to protect the territorial waters, state border and continental shelf of the Republic of Kazakhstan; patrolling in order to suppress illegal shipping, smuggling operations, piracy and illegal fishing, interception and inspection of violating vessels independently and jointly with other ships, boats and aircraft, has the necessary characteristics for seaworthiness: speed, controllability, stability, cruising range, autonomy , crew living conditions.

After launching, the ship will undergo mooring, factory sea and acceptance tests and delivery to the Customer.

Considering the difficult epidemiological situation in the region, the event was held taking into account the established restrictive quarantine measures.
