One of the online publications once again posted incorrect information regarding Steel Manufacturing LLP (Karaganda), thus forming an opinion among the public that the plant sells cartridges at inflated prices. JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Engineering" officially announces that this is unreliable information.

Steel Manufacturing LLP has been operating since 2020 and specializes in the production of pistol and rifle cartridges using Canadian technologies. This is the first and only plant for the production of cartridges for pistols and rifles in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The cost of Kazakhstani products is in the acceptable range of market value and is similar to foreign ones. At the same time, we note that cartridge cases in Steel Manufacturing LLP are made of brass and therefore they cannot be compared with steel specimens.

At the moment, the procedure for the transition of Steel Manufacturing LLP from a third-level organization (grandchild) to a second-level organization (subsidiary) is underway. Based on the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 23, 2023 No. 159, the proposal of Kaztekhnologii JSC was adopted to transfer 100 percent of the share in the authorized capital of Steel Manufacturing LLP to republican ownership with its subsequent transfer from state ownership in payment for the shares of NK JSC Kazakhstan engineering.
