At the Kirov domestic factory (a subsidiary of NC Kazakhstan Engineering JSC), production of modern computer equipment under the ZIK brand has begun.

Currently, 50 first test versions of ultrabooks have already been assembled. It should be noted that they are quite compact, have all the necessary functionality and are not inferior to foreign counterparts. In the future, the factory plans to organize the production of servers, tablets and monoblocks.

“The design annual capacity of each of these elements will be from a minimum of 5000 units per year. There is a phased increase in the share of localization in the production of computers according to the roadmap. At this stage, we will be engaged in the production of personal computers and laptops, as these areas are the most profitable in the current market conditions,” said Almat Shakenov, head of the marketing and international cooperation department.

Recall that for the first time in Kazakhstan, the Kirov plant launched an industrial line for the production of multilayer printed circuit boards of the 5th accuracy class and a modern line for surface mounting of SMD elements.
