NC “Kazakhstan Engineering” JSC is the only engineering company in Kazakhstan that has national status and with over a five thousand employees.

Since 2015, the company has been acting as a single operator for the implementation of the state defense order. It should be noted that the volume of sales over the past 5 years has doubled.

Thanks to state support, it was possible to reduce import dependence and significantly increase the level of production localization. For the first time in Kazakhstan, the production of thermal imaging devices, range equipment, surveying and navigation systems, communications, assembly of engines for armored vehicles, and others.

With transnational companies such as ASELSAN, Airbus, KAMAZ, Elbit systems, new directions have been mastered and joint ventures have been created.

In cooperation with the 405th plant and Russian Helicopters, the company is implementing a project for the large-site assembly of MI-8AMT / 171 helicopters. This project will allow to quickly equip the republican helicopter fleet and, at the same time, reduce the annual budget load.

Since 2020, the Kazakhstan Aviation Industry subsidiary plans to build an UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) in Kazakhstan. This will allow not only to realize UAVs, but also to reduce dependence on other countries on the issues of repair and maintenance of drones.

Tynys Plant produces components and assemblies of aviation equipment, personal protective equipment for all power structures of the country. It is planned to mass-produce wheelchairs for adults and children. For this, a corresponding memorandum was signed with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Currently, with the support of the government there is a technological modernization of production at the plants named after S.M. Kirova, PZTM, "Semey engineering", etc.

Plant them. S.M. Kirova received modern machines where they produce multi-layer boards - parts for all household appliances. There are no analogues of this equipment in Kazakhstan. The plant already produces modern computer equipment under the Kazakhstan brand "ZIK".

PZTM acquired 39 modern high-performance machines; the entire technological process is computerized. A new line for the production of thermos cars for the transportation of perishable goods has been opened.

"Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering" has begun exporting Airbus Helicopters to Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. In addition, the export of helicopter repair and maintenance services and flight crew training is growing annually.

Work is underway to increase and expand the range of export products, as well as markets for them. The company's enterprises are already supplying their products to Russia, Poland, Finland, Turkey, India, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

Currently, along with the reduction of all types of expenses, including administrative, the staffing of the company is being optimized. In addition, the company is working to attract investors as part of the implementation of the comprehensive privatization plan in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2015, for the recovery and renewal of engineering enterprises.
