Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov made his first working trip to the Karaganda region to visit key enterprises and identify current problems in the industrial sector.

During a visit to local enterprises, Olzhas Bektenov got acquainted with the activities of the Steel Manufacturing cartridge plant. This year it is planned to complete the commissioning of the rifle line, and the launch of mass production of cartridges of various calibers is also expected.

The Prime Minister emphasized the need for maximum utilization of the plant due to planned orders from law enforcement agencies, noting the uniqueness of the enterprise as the first and only one in the country to produce cartridges.
