The Day of Languages of the Peoples of Kazakhstan is a vivid manifestation of the inter-ethnic harmony that has historically developed in the country. This date reflects the policy of peace and harmony pursued at the state level and enshrined in legislative acts.

The holiday was established in 1998 in independent Kazakhstan and was originally celebrated on the third Sunday of September. In 2017, the date of celebration was moved, timing it to coincide with the birthday of the outstanding educator Akhmet Baitursynov.

On September 5, 2024 employees of JSC “NC ‘Kazakhstan Engineering’ within the framework of the event discussed the presentation and video materials reflecting the significance of this holiday, as well as participated in games and quiz dedicated to the Day of Languages of the Peoples of Kazakhstan. The main purpose of the event is to remind about love and respect to native language, and also to expand knowledge about languages of other peoples living nearby.

The language of each nation is the keeper of its centuries-old history and culture, and its preservation and development play a key role in the formation of national identity and dignity.
