The Commander-in-Chief of the Naval Forces of Kazakhstan visited the plants of the Kazakhstan Engineering Group of Companies in the city of Uralsk

Commander-in-Chief of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General Serik Burambayev, visited the city of Uralsk as part of a working trip, where he held a number of meetings on issues of technical equipment of the troops and renewal of the fleet of sea vessels.

At the enterprises of JSC Ural Plant Zenit and JSC Research Institute Gidropribor, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the field of acquisition, maintenance and modernization of ships. Particular attention was paid to issues of increasing the efficiency of interaction in these areas.

At the Zenit plant, the Major General got acquainted with the progress of construction of a multifunctional auxiliary vessel with a displacement of 750 thousand tons. This project, which is the first in its class for Kazakhstani enterprises, is of strategic importance for the further development of the domestic shipbuilding industry.

During the meeting with representatives of JSC Research Institute Gidropribor, the company's capabilities in the field of repair and maintenance of robotic equipment, as well as the supply of spare parts, were discussed. During the visit, the high-speed boat "Sagym", designed for hydrographic research, was also inspected.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Navy of the Republic of Kazakhstan noted the importance of modernizing production capacities and developing new technologies that will increase the competitiveness of Kazakhstani products in the international market.
