Airbus Helicopters Kazakhstan Engineering handed over H145 D3 helicopter
On December 18, 2024, Cecile Arnault, CEO of Airbus Helicopters Kazakhstan Engineering, handed over the keys to the new aircraft to Major General Chingis Arinov, Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The H145 D3 helicopter was selected to perform a wide range of tasks, including search and rescue operations, extinguishing forest and wildfires, as well as other critical emergency response tasks.

“Renewal of the aircraft fleet is a strategic task to improve the efficiency of our services. We plan to create aviation detachments in each region, which will allow us to quickly respond to emergencies,” Chingis Arinov noted. The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations emphasized the importance of training personnel to operate modern helicopters, as well as the introduction of innovative technologies in emergency aviation.

The H145 D3 helicopter is maneuverable, reliable and highly adaptable to various climatic conditions, which makes it an ideal choice for work in conditions that require efficiency and precision. It is equipped with modern medical equipment for emergency care, a water drainage device for extinguishing fires, as well as rescue balloons for operations over water areas.

One of the key advantages of the helicopter is a powerful searchlight, which allows it to work effectively in conditions of night operations and limited visibility, which significantly expands its capabilities in unstable situations.

“Obtaining the H145 D3 helicopter is an important step in the framework of the program for modernizing the aviation fleet of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan. In 2024, our aviation has already made 2,537 sorties to conduct emergency rescue operations, extinguish fires and participate in exercises,” said Alpamys Kamalov, General Director of Kazaviaspas JSC.

The meeting also discussed the prospects for the development of the helicopter industry in Kazakhstan, including issues of adapting the H160 helicopter with subsequent localization of production.
