R.A. Komratov has been awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of Mangystau Region."

On February 5, 2025, a solemn ceremony for awarding the title of "Honorary Citizen of Mangystau Region" took place in the city of Aktau. The event was attended by the Deputy Akim of the region, Tilek Zhetkizgenuly, who, on behalf of the regional head Nurdaulet Kylybai, congratulated the laureates and acknowledged their contributions to the development of the region.

According to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 148 "On Local Government and Self-Government in the Republic of Kazakhstan," dated January 23, 2001, the title of "Honorary Citizen" is a public recognition and encouragement of citizens for their long-standing fruitful work, talents, and valuable initiatives. It aims to enhance labor and socio-political activity, encourage efforts towards the economic and social development of the region, and instill a spirit of Kazakhstani patriotism and interethnic friendship among the younger generation.

One of the recipients of this prestigious title was Ratmir Alimkhanovich Komratov, an outstanding military figure and representative of the General Command of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. With extensive service experience, he was among the founders of the country's Naval Forces, holding key positions, including Commander-in-Chief of the Naval Forces of Kazakhstan and Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Thanks to his professionalism, strategic vision, and dedication, Kazakhstan's Naval Forces have strengthened their positions, becoming a vital component of national defense. His contributions to the state have been recognized with the Order of "Dank" (Glory) II degree.

In addition, he has made a significant contribution to the military-patriotic education of the younger generation, actively working on training future defenders of the country.

"Each recipient of this title is a well-known figure in the region and the country. Some of them are even recognized abroad. Therefore, we believe that each one of them deserves great respect. These individuals represent the previous generation, having made significant contributions to the prosperity and development of our region and achieving great honor through their dedication and hard work. We firmly believe that their way of life and accomplishments will serve as an example for the next generation," noted Tilek Zhetkizgenuly.
