Youth in the Productions of "Kazakhstan Engineering"
As part of the "Year of Working Professions" announced by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Engineering" is intensifying efforts to develop and support working specialties as a key factor in economic stability and social progress.
Developing working professions is a strategic investment in the country’s future, ensuring its technological and economic prosperity. The company is establishing a transparent and modern system for assessing and recognizing qualifications, ensuring that each specialist's competencies are effectively applied, driving sustainable growth and innovation across production facilities.
In 2025, the company will focus its efforts on the following key areas:
- Improving professional standards in line with labor market demands;
- Developing mechanisms for qualification assessment and recognition to meet modern professional requirements;
- Strengthening the link between education and production by implementing practice-oriented employee training;
- Providing social support for young professionals (supporting young families, assisting with housing and social issues);
- Enhancing the prestige of working professions and creating conditions for professional growth.
Attracting and supporting young specialists remains one of the company’s priorities. More than six hundred young employees aged 18 to 35 work at the company’s factories, bringing fresh ideas and energy into production processes.
JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Engineering" actively implements initiatives to improve workforce qualifications and increase the attractiveness of industrial jobs for young people. The company's factories regularly participate in job fairs, accept students for production internships with future employment opportunities, and introduce mentorship programs that help young employees adapt to the workplace more efficiently.
To facilitate workplace adaptation, Youth Councils have been established at several factories, including JSC "Semey Engineering," JSC "Hydropribor Research Institute," JSC "Uralsk Plant "Zenit," JSC "S.M. Kirov Plant," JSC "Petropavlovsk Heavy Engineering Plant," and JSC "Tynys."
"We firmly believe that the working person is society's most valuable asset and capital. The introduction of the 'Year of Working Professions' is an important step in recognizing the significance of working professions and showing respect to those who drive our country forward with their professionalism and dedication," the company’s management stated.
In turn, JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Engineering" will continue to invest in human capital development, creating conditions for the professional growth of young specialists and laying a strong foundation for Kazakhstan's future prosperity.
