On March 18, 2025, JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Engineering" hosted a lecture titled "Spring Abai," dedicated to the connection between the spring season and the works of the national poet.
During the lecture, participants explored the poetic legacy of Abai Kunanbaiuly, his reflections on nature, the changing seasons, and humanity's place within nature. Special attention was given to the role of spring and Nauryz in Kazakh culture.
Spring symbolizes renewal, new opportunities, and harmony. In his poems, Abai praises the awakening of nature, portraying vivid images of spring’s renewal: lush green meadows, blooming flowers, and rushing rivers. Through these depictions, the poet illustrates not only the physical revival of the land but also its symbolic meaning—spring brings change, spiritual renewal, and hope for a better future.
Abai perceives spring as a time of unity between humans and nature. His poetry conveys the idea that spring’s awakening is not merely a seasonal transition but a reflection of the life cycle, in which people also experience spiritual renewal. It is a time for contemplation, reevaluation, and inspiration.
Thus, the poet not only captures the beauty of nature but also delves into profound philosophical reflections on humanity’s place in the world, harmony with nature, and the eternal cycle of life.
The lecture concluded with philosophical discussions on the interconnectedness of nature and human life and destiny in the context of spring’s awakening.
