Young professionals of JSC "PZTM": support of the present and potential of the future

2025 was declared the Year of Working Professions in Kazakhstan - as a sign of respect for working people and an important step in the desire to restore the prestige of technical work, emphasize its importance and attract young people to popular and promising professions, without which the development of either industry or the state as a whole is impossible. Modern production requires not only technical support, but also qualified operators who are able to work on complex equipment, quickly adapt to changes and ensure a high level of quality. In the context of the development of domestic production and the course towards technological independence, such personnel become the basis for industrial growth.

The role of blue-collar jobs is especially great at the enterprises of JSC NC Kazakhstan Engineering, where technical specialists ensure the viability and development of industry. There are many young people working at JSC PZTM who have made exactly this choice. Some of them are just starting out, while others have been confidently following their professional path for many years. They are all united by respect for their work, dedication to the enterprise and confidence in the demand for their profession.

Popov Nikolay.jpg

One of them is Nikita Popov, a college graduate with a degree in mechanical engineering. He first came to the enterprise in 2017 as a mechanic for mechanical assembly work, and in 2024 he returned in a new capacity - as a CNC machine operator.

Nikolay Likhanosov.jpg

The path to a profession can also begin with industrial practice. This was the case with Nikolai Likhanosov, who is only 19 years old. While studying at college, he completed an internship at a plant, and after graduating, he was immediately hired. For more than a year, he has been working as a CNC machine operator. Nikolai enthusiastically masters the intricacies of the work and looks to the future with confidence, because he has three specialties at once in his arsenal - turner, operator and mechanic technician.

Vorokh Anton Alexandrovich3.jpg

There are also those at the plant who have dedicated a significant part of their lives to the enterprise. Anton Vorokh came to the plant after college and became a carousel turner. More than 13 years have passed since then - during this time he became the owner of the 5th category and a recognized professional with a deep understanding of the technological processes of heavy engineering.

Zhigailov Nikolay.jpg

Versatility is an important quality of a good working specialist, and Nikolay Zhigaylov is proof of this. Since 2012, he has worked his way up from a milling machine operator to a mechanic of mechanical assembly works and a tester, and today he works on the automatic welding line of boiler heating panels. His extensive practical experience allows him to feel equally confident in different production areas.

Kamalov Vitaly Andreevich.jpg

Vitaly Kamalov has followed a similar path. Having started his career as a milling machine operator, he retrained as a CNC machine operator, received the 6th category and is not stopping there. Vitaly regularly participates in professional skills competitions, becoming a winner and prize winner, and also actively participates in the life of the workshop. Here he also met his future wife - their story became a symbol of the new factory dynasty.

Lukyanchenkov Andrey.jpg

Sometimes the professional choice can surprise. Andrey Lukyanchenkov studied to be a railway specialist, but decided to connect his life with mechanical engineering. After only a month of work at PZTM, he confirmed his rank, and since then he has been working as a gear cutter for almost 14 years, preparing to receive the 6th rank.

Lapshin Sergey Alexandrovich.jpg

Sergey Lapshin is one of the most titled young workers at the enterprise. After college, he began working as a milling machine operator, quickly showed himself and repeatedly won professional competitions. Today, at 34, he has the highest - 6th category and works on two machines at once, confirming his skills in practice.

Kurbangaleeva Svetlana.jpg

The female part of the team also makes a significant contribution to the work of the enterprise. Svetlana Kurbangaleeva and Marina Krylova, electrical fitters and circuit designers, work in the instrument and cable products section. Svetlana came to the plant in 2012, having two technical specialties under her belt. Over the years, she has assembled hundreds of precise and reliable products that are in demand in the defense and industrial sectors.

Krylova Marina.jpg

Marina Krylova initially studied at the university in the pedagogical direction, but during her studies she worked part-time at the plant. After graduating from the university, she stayed at PZTM and today, with the precision of a jeweler, assembles elements of complex cable and panel equipment.

All these stories are only a small part of the work biographies of young representatives of blue-collar professions. Behind each name there is a real person, hard work, support from mentors and the result embodied in products of heavy engineering. It is such specialists who shape the future of the domestic industry and are living proof that blue-collar professions will always be in demand.
