On 19 October 2018, the meeting of the Chairman of Board of Directors - General Director of ASELSAN Turkish Company Mr. Haluka Gargun with the Chairman of the Board of Kazakhstan engineering NC JSC (Ministry of defense and aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan) Mr. Nurmukhambet Abdibekov was held.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of development of Kazakhstan Aselsan engineering joint venture.
Today ASELSAN is a major defense industry company in Turkey, and ranks 58th in the ranking of the 100 best defense companies in the world (Defense News Top 100).
Let's remind that in Astana, in December 2013, Kazakhstan Aselsan engineering LLP joint venture was opened. In January 2014, the plant already produced the first batch of products. Today, the plant employs more than 100 specialists; all production lines have been launched.
Kazakhstan Aselsan engineering LLP (a subsidiary of Kazakhstan engineering NC JSC (Ministry of defense and aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan) fabricates electronic and optoelectronic products for Kazakhstan law enforcement agencies. It’s communication systems, thermal imagers, day and night observation sights for small arms, as well as electronic fire stabilization systems.
The Kazakhstan defense enterprise takes an active part in international exhibitions of arms and military equipment in order to enter foreign markets in the near future.
The products of the plant were acknowledged at V International Exhibition of Weapons Systems and Military Equipment, Kazakhstan Security Systems-2018 IV International exhibition and conference on security and civil protection.
Kazakhstan Aselsan engineering LLP plans to demonstrate its products at INTERPOLITEX-2018 XXII international exhibition, which will be held from 23 to 26 October 2018 in Moscow, as well as at the 10th Central Asian international exhibition from 14 to 16 November 2018 in Tashkent.
