Astana hosted the VIII meeting of the Sub-Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation of the Intergovernmental Kazakh-Belarusian Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation chaired by the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General Talgat Zhanzhumenov.
The Belarusian part of the Subcommittee was headed by the Deputy Chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee Dmitry Pantus. In the course of the work, the parties discussed the current state and promising areas of military-technical cooperation, including the development of enterprises of the military-industrial complexes of the parties, a protocol was signed that confirmed the decisions and intentions.
Representatives of the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry, as well as other state bodies and enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the work of the Sub-Commission. As part of the meeting program, the Belarusian delegation got acquainted with the production facilities of the defense enterprises Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering LLP and Kazakhstan Aselsan Engineering LLP.
