Kazakhstan and Serbia will cooperate in the military-technical sphere

Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov and Minister of Defense of the Republic of Serbia Alexander Vulin signed a Letter of Intent to cooperate in the military-technical, military-economic and defense spheres.

According to this document, the parties agreed to develop relations in the field of supply of military products, maintenance and repair of military equipment, as well as in other areas of military-technical cooperation of mutual interest.

As previously reported, Astana hosted a meeting between the Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan B. Atamkulov and the Minister of Defense of Serbia A. Vulin, during which the parties discussed issues of Kazakh-Serbian bilateral military-technical cooperation.

Also, during the visit to Kazakhstan, the Serbian military delegation visited domestic defense-industrial enterprises, where they got acquainted with military products.

The first object of the visit was the joint venture KAE LLP, which produces electronic and electronic-optical products.

Further, the delegation visited the Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering LLP plant - the largest enterprise in Central Asia for the production of modern armored wheeled vehicles, where they got acquainted with the innovative technology of the enterprise, which allows the production of armored vehicles with enhanced mine protection. The high-tech equipment of the enterprise allows us to implement a full cycle of work. Presentations of military products and other Kazakh enterprises of the military-industrial complex were demonstrated.

At the National Space Center, the Serbian side was shown the work of the KazEOSat Earth Remote Sensing System, the High-Precision Satellite Navigation System, got acquainted with the construction progress of the Spacecraft Assembly and Testing Complex and the Special Design and Technological Bureau with pilot production.

During the working visit, the Minister of Defense of the Serbian Republic Alexander Vulin took part in the ceremony of laying a wreath at the "Eternal Flame" of the monument "Otan Korgaushylar", and also visited the Military-Patriotic Museum of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National University of Defense named after The first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the Leader of the nation.
