The European aerospace group Airbus Defense and Space (AirbusDS) will provide technical support to Kazakhstan Aviation Industry LLP for servicing the C295 aircraft.

The corresponding agreement was signed by the acting. Syrymbek Sadvakasov, General Director of KAI LLP, and Oscar Alonso Romero, Head of Sales of Military Aircraft AirbusDS, during a working visit to Astana, Chairman of the Spanish Congress of Deputies Ana Pastor.

The agreement allows KAI LLP to start production activities for servicing C295 aircraft, the management of the Kazakh company notes.

Airbus Defense and Space will develop a plan to be implemented by KAI LLP to ensure that its personnel, infrastructure and procedures comply with the maintenance requirements for this type of aircraft.

Along with this, AirbusDS will provide technical support to the KAI LLP maintenance personnel during the first inspection of the C295 aircraft and will provide an up-to-date version of publications and flow charts required to carry out this inspection.
