In the Regional Command "East" - at the combined-arms training ground "Shygys", in the Regional Command "West" - at the training ground "Karabotan" special tactical exercises are being held.

They provide for the development of issues on bringing military units to combat readiness, moving personnel to a given area and equipping a field camp, conducting reconnaissance and combat operations using specialized military equipment, and withdrawing forces and assets to the area of ​​mission performance.

According to the scenario, the units move to a settlement where a number of objects have been seized by illegal armed groups. The servicemen are blocking the building, organizing checkpoints, conducting an assault and eliminating the militants.

In the course of performing combat training tasks, the special forces for the first time tested the domestic armored wheeled vehicles "Arlan" that entered service.

The exercises are carried out in cooperation with units of the KNB Border Service, the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as local executive bodies.
