Military pilot operation of Armored Vehicle "Arlan” is hold in the Armed Forces

A new type of military equipment manufactured by LLP "Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering" – Armored Vehicle "Arlan" equipped by Weapon Platform "SARP" produced by LLP "KAE" which was  received by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan is hold a military pilot operation now.

On 10-th February at the military firing range "Shygys" in winter climatic conditions have been demonstrated combat readiness and technical capacity of Kazakhstan's armored vehicle. The audience including the media representatives had the opportunity to estimate the advantages of military technology in the real world, taking part in a test drive of Armored Vehicle and shooting from the Weapon Platform SARP.

Such activities like March of eight "Arlan" in snowy terrain, testing the strength of armored steel and glass of armored vehicle, shooting from «SARP» were held during pilot operation.

Integrated Electro-optical system of Weapon platform SARP that combines a thermal imaging camera, the daylight camera, laser rangefinder allows to conduct surveillance / reconnaissance, automatic target tracking, calculate the most accurate ballistics and implement sighting shooting in all weather conditions at night and daytime. The remote control of weapon platform minimizes the loss of personnel risks. Compact Weapon platform allows to use it in stationary mode at block posts, outposts, towers and the advantage of stabilization allows to use it on any form of land platform in motion.

AV "Arlan" is a multi-purpose armored wheeled vehicle with enhanced mine protection. Machines of this type have a high ground clearance, the V-shaped bottom which allows withstand debris and dissipate the energy of the explosion. Armored vehicle stands shots from any firearms. Combat machine weighs 16 tons, it can reach speeds of 100 kilometers per hour and is fully adapted to the harsh climatic conditions of operation in temperature conditions from -50⁰ C to + 50⁰ C. There is no any analogues of such equipment today in the Armed Forces of our Republic.
