Astana hosted a two-day flight safety seminar, first organized by Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering LLP (ESKI) and with the support of Airbus Helicopters.
About 50 participants were invited to the event, including representatives of the Civil Aviation Committee, as well as public and private operators.
Its purpose is to discuss topical issues of improving flight safety. The presentations presented during the seminar contained useful information that can be used in the operation of aircraft.
The main areas touched upon during the event related to such topics as safety culture (including the voluntary reporting system); introduction to the safety management system (DBMS) and promotion in organizations; consideration and discussion of the plane crash; as well as tools used in pre-flight risk assessment.
On the second day of the seminar, the participants got acquainted with the production site and the training center of Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering LLP. The guests were told about the activities of the enterprise for the maintenance of aircraft and training of aviation personnel, and also demonstrated the new flight simulator for the EC145 helicopter, which serves to improve the level of flight safety.
