The chairman of the Board of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Ablai Myrzakhmetov and heads of subsidiaries of the "Samruk-Kazyna" fund took part in the signing ceremony of such an important document for the domestic business.

As a reminder, earlier, in December 2015, the Chairman of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Timur Kulibayev and Chairman of the Board of the National Welfare Fund "Samruk - Kazyna" Umirzak Shukeyev signed the Agreement on Cooperation.

The main purpose of signing the Agreement is to support domestic producers of goods, suppliers of works, services; an increase in the share of local content and the implementation of an import substitution program in the context of the WTO and EAEU obligations assumed by the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The agreement will facilitate the establishment of cooperation with businesses to increase the transparency and efficiency of procurement in the quasi-public sector.

Cooperation agreements with the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs were signed by KazMunayGas JSC, Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC, KEGOC JSC, Samruk-Energo JSC, Kazakhtelecom JSC, Kazatomprom JSC, Kazakhstan Engineering JSC, Tau-Ken Samruk ".

The parties agreed to cooperate on the issues of concluding annual and long-term contracts between manufacturers, suppliers of works and services, ensuring transparency of planned and ongoing purchases, monitoring prices for goods, works and services.

The issues of concluding and monitoring annual and long-term contracts with entrepreneurs will be dealt with by working groups, which will include representatives of NPP RK Atameken.

In addition, within the framework of the signed agreements, a full range of non-financial support will be provided in the Entrepreneurship Service Centers and Entrepreneurship Support Centers.

For reference: In total, purchases for the amount of 3.2 trillion tenge are planned for the current year, including long-term contracts for the amount of 786.4 billion tenge.

The share of purchases of these 8 subsidiaries of Samruk-Kazyna is 93.7% of the total purchases.

The number of long-term contracts concluded with domestic suppliers as of March 31, 2016 is:

• a total of 5,537 existing contracts worth 6.7 trillion tenge;
• a total of 1,784 contracts concluded in 2015 for the amount of 983 billion tenge;
• 955 agreements concluded with the support of NCE RK "Atameken" in the amount of 410 billion tenge.
