On April 8-9, 2023, the «Engineering Hackathon» event was held at Nazarbayev University with the support of the US Embassy in Kazakhstan, together with «Alan Tech» LLP and «American Corner & Makerspace Astana».

Rear Admiral, Advisor of «NC «Kazakhstan Engineering» JSC Komratov Ratmir Alimkhanovich made a speech at the opening, supporting the future STEM-leaders of Kazakhstan.

More than 100 students took part in the Hackathon in the areas of «Mechanical Engineering», «Software Development» and «Mining». The winners received a certificate for a summer internship in prestigious companies.

Companies provided students with task cases, on which groups of contestants competed and proposed successful ways of solving them. «NC «Kazakhstan Engineering» JSC also provided a case on which the «Nobody Team» presented ideas and solutions.
