About 500 standards need to be developed in the machine-building industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan

NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM - A meeting of the National Council for Qualifications and Development of Professional Standards in the field of mechanical engineering and metalworking has been held in the capital, Kazinform correspondent reports.

“Kazakhstan has never repaired airplanes or assembled helicopters. This is the achievement of our country. As for the National Council, it was created to ensure that there is a good connection between the market and training. You and I know well that the market complains about the quality of personnel training - they do not meet the requirements set by our employers, "said Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berdibek Saparbayev at the meeting.

He recalled that at the last meeting, an agreement was reached on the creation of 38 sectoral qualifications frameworks and 480 professional standards.

“To date, 36 qualifications frameworks and about a hundred standards are ready. We must develop professional standards, then, based on them, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan must develop appropriate curricula, curricula and requirements for these specialties, ”the speaker emphasized.

The event was also attended by Tamara Duisenova, President of the Human Resources Development Center, Amaniyaz Yerzhanov, Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development, representatives of the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan, educational institutions of the republic, Alageum Group JSC and Ernst Young.

At the meeting, the issues of improving the quality of education, including dual education, and the work carried out in the framework of improving the quality of labor resources of the group of companies JSC "Alageum Group" were considered.

Summing up the results of the meeting, Berdibek Saparbayev instructed the developers of professional standards to exclude duplication of professions in the developed professional standards, until November 8 of this year. submit ready-made professional standards, discussed and agreed with employers and educational institutions of the industry, for examination by Ernst Young, before being submitted to the industry commission of the state body.
