Representatives of the enterprises of the republic's defense-industrial complex, which are part of the national company "Kazakhstan Engineering" of the Ministry of Digital Development, Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took part in a visiting seminar-meeting at the Karaganda Foundry and Machine-Building Plant (hereinafter - KLMZ), which is part of LLP " Corporation Kazakhmys ".
During the event, the participants got acquainted with the modernization of KLMZ, which was successfully completed in 2018, and is one of the best innovative projects in the country's mechanical engineering industry. The implementation of this project made it possible, at the expense of the existing production, to ensure the development of new products - from 5 thousand to 15 thousand items, including with import substitution within 70% of the development of a new nomenclature.
The seminar-meeting discussed issues of digital transformation of factories, methodology and implementation of approaches to digitalization of production processes. In the future, representatives of the republic's defense industry enterprises plan to use this successful experience in the preparation and organization of transformation processes at their enterprises.
Today, on behalf of the Head of State, the republic's defense enterprises are actively introducing digitalization of production processes, expanding the range of manufactured products using new technologies, and implementing a set of measures for export-oriented products.
