New equipment is being installed at the Kirov plant in Petropavlovsk. As part of a comprehensive three-year plan for socio-economic development of the North Kazakhstan region, 2.2 billion tenge was allocated from the republican budget for the modernization of an engineering company. The enterprise was visited by akim of the North Kazakhstan region Kumar Aksakalov reports Petropavlovsk.news. As part of the financing, about 300 units of equipment manufactured in Southeast Asia and Europe were purchased. The integrator for the supply of new lines is a Moscow company. - At our factory, we are implementing an investment project "Organization of the production of multilayer printed circuit boards and surface mounting of SMD elements." We will launch the lines by the end of the year. The release of the first batch of products is expected in the first quarter of 2020, - said the director of the sales department Madi Bektenov. The equipment will be used for the production of multilayer printed circuit boards, which are used in modern electronic devices - gadgets, computer and household appliances. Now it is the most popular part of any electronic products. The plant will be able to produce class 5 printed circuit boards with up to 16 layers. They allow the manufacture of electronic devices of smaller dimensions than using other printed circuit boards. Existing equipment at the plant allows the production of double-sided printed circuit boards of accuracy class 5, but only two-layer ones. They have been produced at the plant for three years. However, before, quality control employees of the Quality Department performed manual control with a magnifying glass. Special equipment has now arrived for optical control and verification of electrical parameters. The rejection will be carried out automatically, and low-quality payments will come for correction and repair. We also bought a screen printing printer, which allows you to evenly apply solder paste, before this process was carried out manually and the amount of marriage was overestimated. An automatic installation line for SMD components will increase the speed from 4 to 30 thousand elements per hour. When new equipment is launched at full capacity, next year it is expected that the volume of sales in the amount of 2 billion tenge. - It takes a lot of preparatory work before installing new lines. Somewhere you need to install a water treatment plant, somewhere to mount an antistatic floor. Therefore, all this will take time, although we already use some of the equipment in the manufacture of printed circuit boards, says the general director of the plant. CM. Kirov Amangeldy Argimbaev. Updating the plant will open 48 new jobs. As part of a three-year comprehensive development plan for the region, the second machine-building enterprise, the Petropavlovsk Heavy Engineering Plant, is also being modernized. There they will purchase 39 new machines worth 4.5 billion tenge.
