JSC "811 Automobile Repair Plant-Kazakhstan Engineering" has been engaged in overhaul, modernization of automobile and military engineering equipment for more than 40 years, continuing to master new types of products.

In 2015, the enterprise from the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan received a technical assignment for the development of a prototype of a modernized transport vehicle with a river link from the pontoon-bridge park (PMP), which is designed to equip bridge and ferry crossings over water obstacles.

For several years, relevant research and development work was carried out. After all stages of factory and military tests with the participation of representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, positive feedback was given on the modernized PMP vehicle with a river link based on KAMAZ-63502. As a result of these works, the maneuverability and controllability of the PMP transportation base increased.

Since 2019, the enterprise has begun supplying modernized transport vehicles of a new design for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
