Kazakh target drones go for export

An agreement on the supply of UAV-simulators of air targets of Kazakhstani design was signed between JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Engineering "and the Serbian state company" YUGOIMPORT-SDPR ". This is the first export contract for defense industry products completely developed by Kazakhstan in the history of our country.

“The entry of Kazakhstani products to the world market gives us great opportunities. At the same time, I believe that the presence of demand is a clear indicator of the ability of Kazakhstani products to compete with foreign manufacturers. We will continue to increase our cooperation in this direction,” said Kairbek Uskenbaev, head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The agreement on long-term cooperation with the state-owned company "YUGOIMPORT-SDPR" includes a number of agreements on organizing interaction and cooperation on a long-term basis with the aim of mutual transfer of technologies and the introduction of the latest world standards and practices in the field of the military-industrial complex and the development of military-technical cooperation. In addition to the sale of UAV simulators, in the interests of the Serbian side, it is planned to establish a joint production of rocket and artillery ammunition and mortars of 82 and 120 mm calibers.

“This is an important milestone for our company. Entering foreign markets is an opportunity that will allow us to express ourselves, scale production, use the purchasing potential of other countries and develop the industry. Together with Serbian partners, we plan to develop new production facilities, for example, the joint production of mortars and ammunition,” Temirzhan Abdrakhmanov, Chairman of the Board of Kazakhstan Engineering National Company JSC, shared his plans.

The developers of the air target simulator are specialists from Kazakhstan Engineering. UAVs - targets of the "flying wing" type are equipped with a heat flow simulator (HFI), quick-detachable wings, an autopilot system and a parachute system. The maximum non-stop flight range is 55 km, and the maximum service ceiling is 3500 m. During the factory and practical tests, much attention was paid to simplicity, efficiency and ease of use, which significantly reduces the production process and time spent on manufacturing the product. The production of targets is organized at the enterprises of JSC NC "Kazakhstan Engineering".
