At the territory of  «Aircraft Repair Plant No. 405» JSC Temirzhan Abdrakhmanov, the Chairman of the Board of «NC «Kazakhstan Engineering» JSC, met with Mikhail Oglishvili, the General Director of «TAM» JSC.

The Tbilisi Aviation Plant («TAM» JSC) was founded in October, 1941 on the base of evacuated Taganrog aircraft plant No 31 named after G. Dimitrov, Sevastopol aircraft repair plant No 45 and the aircraft engine plant No 448 constructed in Tbilisi. In 2010, the plant was taken over by the Georgian Defense Ministry. Later, «Tbilisi Aircraft Manufacturing» was created on the basis of the 31st plant, and in 2002 its privatization began. The company was named «TAM» (Joint Stock Company «Tbilaviamsheni»).

Today the company is engaged in repair and modernization of aircraft and helicopters, production of spare parts for aircraft, development of UAVs and light civil aircraft. At present the plant is capable of repairing and upgrading MiG-21 and Su-25 aircraft, as well as Mi-8, Mi-17 and Mi-24 helicopters.

At the moment, companies are interested in establishing a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership.
