Thanks to the decision of the Republican Budget Commission, dividends from the cartridge plant of Steel Manufacturing LLP will be used to create a specialized laboratory for testing personal protective equipment in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The laboratory will be a key testing site for Kazakhstan-manufactured products, including body armor and other protective equipment, to verify and test their performance, durability and reliability.

This is the first such institution in Kazakhstan, which will be located on the territory of the cartridge plant. Previously, Kazakh manufacturers of personal protective equipment were forced to send products for testing to foreign countries. However, thanks to the new laboratory, all further necessary tests can be carried out directly on the territory of Kazakhstan. The laboratory will provide savings to Kazakhstani manufacturers on logistics, speed up processes, provide new competencies and create new jobs.
