Amaniyaz Yerzhanov appointed vice minister of defense and aerospace industry of Kazakhstan

By the decree of the Government, Amaniyaz Yerzhanov was appointed to the post of vice minister of defense and aerospace industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

Amaniyaz Yerzhanov was born in 1960 in the West Kazakhstan region. In 1982 he graduated from the Dzhambul Hydrometeorology and Construction Institute, in 1987 — the Higher Komsomol School under the Central Committee of the Komsomol, in 2001 — the Kazakh State Academy of Management. He is a candidate of economic sciences. 

He began his career in 1982 as a chief hydraulic engineer of the Krasnoyarsk communal farm of the Taipak District of the Ural Region. 

In different years he worked as an adviser, assistant to the Deputy Prime Minister, director of the department of the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, head of the sector of the State Commission on Combating Corruption, head of the customs department for Atyrau region, first deputy chairman of the Customs Control Agency. 

In 2005-2006 — a state inspector of the Department of State Control and Organizational Work of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 
2006-2007 — deputy akim of the Karaganda region. 

In 2007-2012 — deputy chairman of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan, chairman of the Industry Committee of the Ministry of Energy. From February 2012 to August 2017 — deputy chairman of the Customs Control Committee of the Ministry of Finance. From August 2014 to March 2017 he held the post of chairman of the Committee for Industrial Development and Safety of the Ministry for Investments and Development. 

Since March 2017 he has been a head of Industrial and Innovative Development Department of the Office of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
