Research institute «Gidropribor», a part of the national company «Kazakhstan engineering», along with the design and manufacture of products offers services for its maintenance and repair. One example of this work is the organization on the production base of the institute of a new laboratory for servicing and routine maintenance of underwater robotics for the needs of the Navy of  Kazakhstan, in particular, underwater vehicles of the company ECA Robotics (France).

To accommodate the laboratory, a specialized room was allocated, necessary equipment, instruments and tools were purchased. Carrying out dismantling and assembly of different modules of the device for the purpose of their repair or changeover, carrying out leak provings, ballasting, accumulator charging is provided in laboratories. That is all types of operations on maintenance of the device.

Existence of laboratory is especially important at development of innovative hi-tech production with participation of the foreign partner as allows to carry out scheduled works on the place, without transporting the equipment out of borders of Kazakhstan and without attracting foreign experts. At the same time terms, material and financial inputs are significantly reduced by maintenance of the equipment, so and the increase in its combat readiness.

At the next stage it is supposed to conduct certification of the laboratory and training of personnel in the repair and maintenance of underwater robotics. In the future, on the basis of the laboratory, it is possible to localize the production of underwater vehicles from ECA Robotics in Kazakhstan.
