Since January of this year, Samuk-Kazyna Contract LLP employees have been conducting daily video broadcasts for entrepreneurs on the facebook social network on the issues of prequalification and inclusion in the pool of verified suppliers for the Fund's companies.

Video broadcasts are conducted online. At the beginning, the expert tells information on the topic of interest to potential suppliers. Entrepreneurs participating in the prequalification can then ask absolutely any question and get an answer immediately.

It should be noted that all employees of the Department of Prequalified Selection of Samruk-Kazyna Contract LLP participate in live broadcasts and the whole range of issues is discussed: from registration in the information system and ending with the procedure for updating data after passing through it.

During live broadcasts, company representatives also explain the requirements for filling out a questionnaire when conducting a desktop audit. According to requests from suppliers, the main focus is on a detailed analysis of each requirement of qualification criteria for desktop audit.

To date, the number of video views has exceeded 5,000 on the social network Facebook and more than 8,500 on Youtube, the number of regular subscribers is more than 400 (more than 100% growth per month). As a result, the time for consideration of applications has decreased by 30%, a channel has been created for direct communication of a potential supplier with employees of the Qualification Body.

- We are introducing this mechanism as part of the Transformation. In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State, we are fundamentally changing our approaches to procurement. Prequalification will help support truly competent suppliers. The system is absolutely open, all correspondence is saved in it, the process is completely transparent. We are ready to help every entrepreneur to pass this selection, all our consultations are free, - said Eldar Doskenov, director of the Department of Prequalification of Samruk-Kazyna Contract LLP.

It should be noted that Samruk-Kazyna Contract LLP is implementing a number of other measures to facilitate the prequalification of potential suppliers:

• Call center organized. In January alone, more than 3000 calls were received from potential suppliers;

• Each supplier is provided with the contacts of an expert considering his application;

• In the event of difficulties, experts themselves contact and explain to potential suppliers the procedure for prequalification;

• Together with NPP Atameken, seminars are held for domestic manufacturers participating in the pre-qualification selection; Training videos and recordings of live broadcasts are posted on the Youtube portal;

• With the assistance of the press service of NPP "Atameken", live broadcasts are placed on specialized sites for business.

In the future, such video broadcasts will be carried out with the participation of experts in various industries.

It should be reminded that the procedure for preliminary qualification of suppliers for the companies of Samruk-Kazyna JSC began in July 2016. This mechanism has been developed and is being implemented by Samruk-Kazyna Contract LLP together with experts from Atameken NPP. Its implementation will improve the quality of purchased goods, works and services, as well as exclude participation in purchases by unscrupulous entrepreneurs, “false manufacturers” and “fly-by-night companies”. And in the near future, part of the purchases of all companies of Samruk-Kazyna JSC will be carried out only among those who have confirmed their qualifications.
