Defense industry enterprises are mobilized for nationwide measures aimed at eliminating the spread of coronavirus infection. Efforts are being made in various directions, both in production and in the framework of providing financial assistance.

As part of the conversion, defense enterprises promptly switched to the production of civilian products for general and medical purposes.

Thus, the Tynys plant in Kokshetau has started the production of medical masks. Health care institutions in Akmola region have already received 110 thousand masks. At the same time, the plant has raw materials and materials for the production of another 2 million pieces of masks. The same plant started production of mobile artificial lung ventilation devices for installation in ambulances. Over the next two months, ventilators will cover the needs of ambulance services in all regions of Kazakhstan. In this regard, the plant was transferred to three-shift work around the clock.

The West Kazakhstan enterprises "Gidropribor" and "Zenith", which produce warships and boats, have begun organizing the production of engineering barriers and special tunnels to ensure decontamination during transitions to various zones where people are located.

North Kazakhstan enterprises JSC "Petropavlovsk Heavy Machine Building Plant", JSC "Plant im. Kirov S.M. " and JSC "Munaimash" provided the region with disinfectant barriers for vehicles.

The Kazakh-Turkish enterprise JSC "Kazakhstan Aselsan Engineering", which produces military night vision devices, is mastering the production of remote electro-optical devices for measuring human temperature, the press service of the MIIR RK reports.
