Senators visited the enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Nur-Sultan

As part of the visit to the enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the city of Nur-Sultan, deputies of the Committee on International Relations, Defense and Security of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan demonstrated the developments of the subsidiaries of JSC NC "Kazakhstan Engineering": LLP "Eurocopter Kazakhstan Engineering" and LLP "Kazakhstan Aviation Industry" ... A new military helicopter was presented and a training center for training pilots was shown, where there is a special simulator that simulates the real process of controlling military equipment. At the site of the only plant in Central Asia for the assembly of European military helicopters, the senators discussed the problems in the industry.

According to the Senate deputies, the Law "On the Defense Industry and State Defense Order" adopted last year has sufficient potential for the further development of the domestic industry. To eliminate shortcomings, parliamentarians visit defense enterprises, where they consult with industry experts to improve the situation and introduce new mechanisms for supporting and developing Kazakhstani plants.

Civil and military helicopters of Kazakhstan assembly were demonstrated, as well as a simulator for training helicopter pilots. In addition, there are ventilators manufactured by Kazakhstan ASELSAN Engineering LLP. At the moment, mechanical ventilation has already been delivered to all medical institutions in Kazakhstan. The devices are fully Russified and adapted for use by both children and adults, and their price is three times lower than foreign analogues. Another subsidiary company, JSC Tynys, manufactures mobile ventilators for ambulances.

Shown are mobile phones of Kazakhstan production based on Android, as well as personal computers, which are produced at the plant named after S.M. Kirov in Petropavlovsk. The senators expressed hope that the mass production of computers will provide for Kazakhstani schoolchildren.

Within the framework of the round table, senators and representatives of JSC NC "Kazakhstan Engineering" and its subsidiaries discussed the further development of the defense industry in Kazakhstan. So, today the country produces 425 types of military products, and the volume of exports increased by 15% compared to last year and amounted to 9.9 billion tenge. There are plans to increase the share of exports, as well as strategic cooperation with a number of countries.

The senators stressed the need to develop the production of military products in demand on the market.
